A2i services are back up and running including Dyslexia screenings and all one to one consultations which will be carried out remotely. Dyslexia assessments have also resumed at our office which is now Covid proof with social distance measures in place. Children services/tuition can also be arranged and carried out online.
We are a small non for profit organisation run by parents/carers living and caring for a child or adult on the Autistic Spectrum, raising awareness and understanding from different perspectives, outreaching also to the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities (BAME) and Dual Heritage Community tackling the taboos and myths around Autism. Domestic Violence support:
As a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, many victims of domestic abuse will face additional challenges and barriers to accessing support. While self-isolating, families are likely to spend extended periods of time with abusers, which potentially could escalate the threat of violent and abusive behaviour. Victims will be more isolated from the people and the resources that could help them.

This is so we can continue to provide emergency food in a safe way to people in financial crisis who you refer to us.

Are mainting contact with the vulnerable, isolated older people who constitute our membership or live in their immediate locality. They have established telephone support to some 300-350 people including peer support among members. Additional support and signposting is available if someone is experiencing severe difficulty.
They operate from premises in Moyser Rd, SW16 6SJ in the southern most quadrant of Wandsworth Borough and can provide local emergency food deliveries in this area. Referrals to Age UK, and Dons Local Action can be made for people who need ongoing food parcel deliveries.

Community connections is still running as a streamlined service; the outreach team will be working with all members to provide support, especially to the most vulnerable who are at risk of isolation without their usual friends or our support.
A team of staff who live locally has been organised to support members with shopping, cooking, medication collections and prompting, twice daily telephone calls, emotional support and outreach in safe spaces such as parks (for exercise). Also offer a helpline so members will be redirected to a department manager.

Our usual face to face support to families has moved online, we are making deliveries to those who are isolated, and directly providing supplies that meet basic needs as well as improving quality of life under lockdown. We are also signposting and referring to a host of other services that can help our families.

Link UP London – Skilled Volunteer Support
Virtual Volunteers are on hand to support in one-off phone calls/zoom meetings which can be great if you’re in need of greater clarity in thinking, if there is a need for thinking about next steps, or if there are particular issues that could be talked through with a knowledgeable volunteer!
You can also be connected to Skilled Volunteers for longer project-based engagement!
The service is FREE and coordinated by Link UP.

They will continue to work with families during the current situation.
They can accept referrals for families needing clothes and kit in urgent cases. They are classifying these as:
- Expectant mums (past 26 weeks pregnant) and new born babies (under 3 months old)
- Children aged 3mths-5yrs with nothing e.g.that recently arrived in the country or recently housed in a refuge
Bundles for these families will comprise of – clothing, nappies, hygiene products and bed/bedding (where available). They will be delivered to the family.
For other families in need, that don’t qualify for these criteria but could still use some help during this time, referrers can submit a referral for a hygiene pack (nappies, wipes and toiletries for the whole household) or request an exception is made for a clothing/kit bundle.

Cancer patients at St George’s can now get confidential phone support from trained volunteers.CanChat is for patients who are worried about money, work, or treatment, or would just like to talk to someone who knows what they are going through.

Paul’s Cancer Support Centre
We are delighted to let you know that we are re-opening our Centre in Battersea on 1st September for initial appointments and talking therapies. Appointments can be booked by calling 020 7924 3924 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Regenerate-RISE are working with the isolated elderly across the borough of Wandsworth. We are providing a weekly supply bag of essential food and toiletries to members and new referrals who need it, making regular phone calls to our 180 members and are starting to make calls to new referrals who want them.
We can do shopping, collect prescriptions and also make and deliver hot lunches 5 days a week for anyone who wants them. Lunches usually cost £7, but at the moment are only £4 due to receiving funding. Lunch includes a cooked meal, dessert and a carton of juice.

Services have moved online and we are able to support parents and families through the use of Zoom with one-to-one mentoring sessions and group drop-in sessions. We have been sending our resource packs to families via email and post along with websites and tools useful for children and parents. There currently is a crisis phone line for parents and we are signposting families to other useful organisations. We have also started some monthly parent talks on our YouTube channel.
We offer wellbeing and creative resources to parents registered with us but also open to those on social media who need support. We have our daily challenges on social media which are quite popular!

Time to Shine
We are a small not for profit organisation supporting young people with emotional well-being and neuro-diverse challenges to build self-esteem and confidence. Incorporating horses, trained professionals offer healing and learning in a non-judgemental environment. No previous experience with horses required and no riding is involved.

Autumn Rose Club
The Balham SDA Church, in partnership with other churches, has been continuing our community support donating and offering food parcels and clothing as needed.
The Autumn Rose Senior Club exercise/luncheon club has been closed since the lockdown due to COVID19 pandemic. Our seniors are not happy having to stay at home "social distancing" for whom some don't see anyone from one week to the next, To keep up the interest of users we had to use videos and online exercise resources. Giving telephone guidance to individuals who do not have anyone in their home to assist with accessing technology device. We also had to talk through some of the seniors how to connect to telephone conferencing for online prayer and seeking counselling.
